About Us
In 2013, GrassPly set out with its aim to promote environmentally friendly plywood. At GrassPly, we’re working towards our vision to preserve forests focused on maintaining the ecological balance by promoting plywood manufactured from bamboo, the tallest grass on earth, as an alternative to plywood created from traditional wood. Although we at Grassply produce bamboo flooring and plyboards: on a turnkey project basis, we also manufacture prefabricated bamboo structures. Additionally, we also intend to broaden our market presence by including bamboo-based items such as bamboo textiles, bamboo charcoal, and cane furniture.
OUR STORY
Where It All Began
Trees can never be saved by writing ‘SAVE TREES’ on paper which is also made by chopping down trees. Mudit Agarwal, the founder of Grassply, always believed that there was an alternative to all of this. It was only in the year 2010 that he recognised the uses of bamboo after onboarding a job at a company that manufactured bamboo plyboards in Arunachal Pradesh. Looking at the opportunities and future scope that bamboo offers, he decided to start independently; thus, GrassPly was incepted in the year 2013 with a vision to be an environment-friendly company.
Our Mission
We are driven to build a brand with a focus on saving more trees. Our mission for the years ahead will see new additions to our existing dealer network in new markets and increased product penetration. We plan to expand our product portfolio by adding other bamboo-based products.
